The storm system is expected to depart the northern tier of the
country by Thursday morning. Snow will continue to fall across
northern Minnesota and along the lakeshore of Lake Superior, and a
couple of additional inches of snow may yet accumulate by the
morning. Meanwhile, portions of Upstate New York northwards to
Maine will see a transition of snowfall to mixed precipitation,
including freezing rain, as warm air advection comes in ahead of
the storm system. Up to an additional 4 inches of snowfall,
especially in areas of high elevation, and a quarter of an inch of
ice accumulations from freezing rain.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1000 AM CDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
